I
paint to communicate impressions and sensibilities for life that I can
think of no other way to express. Enthusiastic, I revel in the exuberance
of life and strive to portray this bounty. I am continually challenged
to use pigment to portray objects whose colors are created with light.
I love the magic of water and pigment and I relish the brush in my hands.
I enjoy the quiet contemplation that comes with looking. With close observation
comes joy and understanding for things that I may have never have appreciated
before.
